You:

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for the reporting of EMEA region, improving internal systems to drive automation and accuracy to the recording process.

Your Day to Day:

Strengthen internal controls and continuously develop accounting policies and procedures, while optimizing ERP systems (NetSuite) to enhance operational efficiency through automation and simplification.
Ensure business processes are documented and aligned with organizational goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate financial strategies with business objectives.
Manage and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of month-end accounting processes, including entries, reconciliations, financial statement reviews, and balance sheet integrity.
Support statutory and tax audits, prepare statutory documentation, and ensure alignment with local frameworks.

You Have & You Know-how:

Degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or Accounting (mandatory).
At least 5 years in similar roles, preferably in a SaaS company; Big4 experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of IFRS GAAP (US GAAP is a plus) and Portuguese tax requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite/SAP ERP preferred.
Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple initiatives.
