You:
Feedzai is building its first-ever Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Portugal—a key strategic hub in our global professional services and delivery model. As the Head of the GDC, you will lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team including project managers, delivery managers, software engineers, data scientists, and business analysts. You will be responsible for establishing and scaling the GDC to ensure world-class delivery, operational excellence, and exceptional client value. This role requires a visionary leader who is both strategic and execution-oriented, and who understands the importance of people, process, and performance in scaling global delivery.
Your Day to Day:
Strategic & Organizational Leadership
- Define and execute the vision and strategy for the GDC aligned with global business objectives;
- Establish best-in-class delivery and engineering practices to support scalable growth;
- Build strong alignment with global stakeholders in Customer Success Regional Delivery, Product, the Center of Excellences;
Delivery & Execution Excellence
- Oversee the successful delivery of complex software projects across fintech clients;
- Implement and optimize delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Hybrid) for predictability and quality;
- Track and improve key delivery metrics: schedule adherence, quality, scope, and velocity;
Talent & Culture
- Hire, inspire, and develop high-performing teams across engineering, data, and delivery functions;
- Champion an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-driven culture aligned with Feedzai’s values;
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Serve as a senior liaison to internal and regional stakeholders—ensuring clear communication and shared accountability;
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand customer needs and co-design delivery solutions;
Operational & Financial Management
- Build efficient operational structures and governance frameworks for the GDC;
- Own the P&L of the GDC; track utilization, cost optimization, and delivery margin;
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local labor laws, and data security regulations;
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Embed continuous improvement, automation, and innovation in delivery practices;
- Provide structured feedback loops to the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Product teams;
- Lead initiatives to drive AI-enabled and GenAI-enhanced delivery models.
You Have & You Know-How:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related fields;
- 10+ years of experience in software delivery or professional services, with 5+ years leading cross-functional teams;
- Experience establishing or scaling a delivery center or shared service organization, ideally in a global tech or fintech company;
- Strong understanding of delivery models (onsite/offshore/hybrid) and distributed team leadership;
- Excellent people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
